“I received a Reiki treatment from Achsah, and it was my first time experiencing Reiki. I assumed that I would just go in and take a nap like any other “spa treatment,” but alas, that was not the case. As soon as we began I felt like a switch had been flipped and my body was alive and buzzing.

I didn’t feel anxious though, it was very calming. I understood then the meaning of “energy work.” As I lay there and let Achsah do her magic, all I kept hearing in my head was “keep the channels open.” I didn’t quite understand what that meant at that point, but I would later learn that it made perfect sense with Reiki treatment.

After we were done, she relayed to me what she had done, and some things that she picked up. One being that I would end up doing something with plants ( this past year, I have really gotten into wild foraging and plant medicine), and then she asked me if I was done having kids. I laughed and said “absolutely!”…..y’all, I found out that I was pregnant with baby #4 that following January!!!

So, overall, the experience was phenomenal!

I can tell that there has been shifts in my mind set and I have become more aware of myself and have started taking notice of limiting behaviors that no longer serve my best good. It was such a positive experience and I can’t wait to continue future sessions with Achsah.”
