How Many Sessions Will I Need?
This is one of the most common questions people ask.
And the honest answer is… it depends.
Not because I’m trying to be vague, but because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Everyone comes in with a different history, different patterns, and a different level of readiness.
Some people experience a noticeable shift after one session. Others benefit from a few sessions over time.
Both are normal.
For QHHT® and Past Life Regression
Most people are curious about starting here, but not everyone is ready for this level of work right away.
These sessions go deep. They access the subconscious in a way that requires your nervous system to feel safe enough to relax and stay open throughout the process.
Because of that, part of my role as a practitioner is to assess whether this is the right fit for you during the consultation phase.
For some people, it is.
For others, I may recommend starting with energy alignment or more supportive work first, especially if the nervous system feels overwhelmed or not fully regulated yet. That foundation makes a big difference in how well you’re able to access and receive what comes through in a QHHT session.
When the timing is right, one session can be incredibly powerful.
It can bring clarity around patterns, physical symptoms, relationships, or things that haven’t fully made sense before. And often, the work continues to unfold in the days and weeks after as your system integrates what came up.
Some people feel complete after one session for a while.
Others come back later when something new surfaces or when they feel ready to go deeper.
There’s no pressure to do multiple sessions. It’s always based on readiness, timing, and what your system can comfortably work with.
For energy alignment sessions
This is where it becomes more flexible and personalized.
I have clients I’ve worked with for years. Some come once or twice a year when they feel like they need a reset or things feel off. Others come more consistently for a period of time, maybe once a month for a few months, especially when they’re moving through something or working through multiple layers.
And then they space out again.
Energy work tends to support the nervous system more directly, so it can be helpful both as maintenance and during more intense periods of change.
What actually determines how many sessions you need
It usually comes down to a few things:
How long something has been there
If it’s more surface-level or layered
How safe your body feels letting it shift
And how well you’re able to integrate what comes up
Sometimes things shift quickly. Other times, your system moves more gradually so the change can actually hold.
Neither is better. It’s just different.
When a short series of sessions is more supportive
There are times when one session is enough, and there are times when a little more structure is helpful.
If you’re moving through something heavier like a major life transition, emotional processing, or long-standing patterns, I may recommend a small series of sessions spaced out over time.
This usually looks like 2-3 sessions, allowing your system to process and integrate each layer without becoming overwhelmed.
Spacing matters here. It gives your body time to settle, adjust, and actually hold the changes, rather than trying to move through everything at once.
This isn’t something you need to commit to upfront. It’s something I guide based on what I see and how your system responds.
Why integration matters more than frequency
One of the biggest misconceptions is that more sessions automatically mean more progress.
That’s not always true.
What really matters is what you do after the session. How you allow your body to process, how you support your nervous system, and how much space you give the change to settle.
One well-integrated session can be more impactful than multiple sessions done too close together.
A few simple ways to support the process
After a session, give yourself a little space if you can. You don’t have to overhaul your life, but slowing down even slightly helps your system integrate.
Stay hydrated, get good rest, and pay attention to anything that feels different; your thoughts, your reactions, your energy.
You don’t need to analyze everything. Just notice.
And most importantly, don’t rush to the next session unless it actually feels right.
You don’t have to figure it all out upfront
You don’t need to decide right now how many sessions you’ll need.
Start with one.
See how you feel afterward. Notice what shifts, what comes up, what feels different.
From there, it becomes really clear whether you want more support or if you’re good for a while.
This work is meant to support you, not create dependence. It’s always personalized, flexible, and guided by where you are. There isn’t a fixed plan or timeline. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just start where you are, allow your system to respond, and trust that the next step will become clear.
